Dr. Liu, who holds a Doctorate in Education, began her journey in traditional Chinese music under the guidance of esteemed Guzheng educators. In 2002, she achieved the highest certification in Guzheng performance. With a passion for blending modern educational methodologies into Guzheng and Guqin instruction, Dr. Liu empowers her students to achieve comprehensive growth and development through music.

The interactive classroom atmosphere, the continuous improvement in her students’ performance, and the heartfelt recognition from parents are the driving forces behind Dr. Liu’s dedication. She is committed to preserving and promoting traditional Chinese culture through her teaching, inspiring students to explore the profound heritage of Chinese music. In 2013, Dr. Liu was honored with the Community Outreach Medal in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the promotion of Chinese culture. Currently serving as the Music Score Expert for the Boston Chinese Musicians Association, Dr. Liu actively engages in the preservation and dissemination of traditional music, fostering cross-cultural understanding through the universal language of music.

Dr. Liu 自幼师从古筝教育名家，2002年获得古筝演奏级证书。她致力于将现代教育理念融入古筝与古琴教学，帮助学生在音乐学习中获得全面的提升与成长。多年来，Dr. Liu 在美国多个社区创办音乐工作室，通过古筝和古琴这一传统乐器，向更多人传播中国悠久的传统文化。

课堂中的互动、学生演奏水平的不断提高，以及家长们的肯定评价，是Dr. Liu持续前行的动力。她始终以推动传统文化传承为己任，用心培养每一位学生，让他们在音乐的世界中感受中国文化的深厚底蕴。2013年，Dr. Liu因在推广中国传统文化方面的突出贡献，荣获社区外联奖章。她目前担任波士顿华人音乐家协会谱物工作负责人，积极投身于传统音乐艺术的传播与发展，用音乐搭建中西文化交流的桥梁。
